What You'll Do:

Learning Design & Development

  • Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend solutions aligned to DEKRA's safety, human performance, and high-risk industry focus.
  • Create storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, participant materials, assessments, and performance support tools.

AI-Enhanced Content Creation

  • Apply AI tools to accelerate content development, including text, visual, video, avatar, and voice-based assets.
  • Develop AI-supported scenarios, simulations, or branching learning experiences where appropriate.
  • Integrate AI workflows into authoring environments such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.

Multimedia, Video & Avatar Development

  • Produce high-quality video learning assets, including AI-generated avatars, explainer videos, and microlearning videos.
  • Utilize tools such as OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, HeyGen, Synthesia, Descript, or similar platforms to deliver polished, branded multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy, clarity, and production quality.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage learning development projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate proactively with project sponsors, SMEs, and cross-functional partners.
  • Deliver work on time, within scope, and aligned to DEKRA expectations.
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design.
  • Experience with AI-enhanced content creation.
  • Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar authoring tools.
  • Strong video and avatar-based content development skills.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Portfolio required, showcasing multimedia learning and AI-driven samples.
  • Familiarity with DEKRA-relevant sectors such as safety, human performance, or high-risk industries.
  • Experience working across multiple LMS platforms, including course publishing, validation, troubleshooting, and learner deployment using SCORM and/or xAPI.
  • Working knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, or LXD methodologies.
  • Graphic design or motion design experience (preferred).

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
