American Airlines Virtual Assistant (Remote / Work-at-Home)

American Airlines is looking for organized and tech-savvy individuals to join our team as a Virtual Assistant. In this remote role, you will provide essential administrative and organizational support to various departments, ensuring that the world largest airline operates smoothly behind the scenes. As a Virtual Assistant, you will act as a digital backbone for our corporate or operational teams, handling everything from data management to executive coordination without needing to step into a physical office.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administrative Support: Manage professional calendars, schedule virtual meetings, and coordinate travel itineraries for department leads.

  • Data Management: Perform accurate data entry, maintain digital records, and generate weekly reports using Microsoft Excel and internal airline databases.

  • Communication Management: Filter and respond to high volumes of emails, ensuring that internal inquiries are directed to the correct departments.

  • Document Preparation: Create, edit, and proofread professional presentations, spreadsheets, and corporate memos.

  • Project Assistance: Assist project managers by tracking deadlines, organizing digital files, and ensuring team milestones are met.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, virtual assistant, or customer coordination role is preferred.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor degree is a plus).

  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams) and familiarity with CRM tools.

  • Remote Readiness: Must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home office environment.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
