Clinical Sales Lead

<strong>About AssistIQ<br><br></strong>AssistIQ uses AI and computer vision to give hospitals real-time visibility into supply and implant usage in surgical and procedural care. Our platform seamlessly captures what's actually used at the point of care so that clinical teams spend less time documenting, and health systems finally get accurate, timely data on what's being used and what it costs. We work with leading health systems across the US and are growing quickly.<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>We're looking for a Clinical Sales Lead who knows the OR and procedural environments inside and out, and can bring that credibility into the sales process.<br><br>You'll partner with Account Executives as the clinical and workflow subject matter expert — the person in the room who has actually stood at the back table, understands what a circulator is juggling during a case, and can explain exactly how AssistIQ fits into the way a team already works. You'll lead demos, run current-state workflow discussions, answer the hard clinical questions, and translate what you hear in the field back to our product and implementation teams.<br><br>This is a high-visibility role on a small commercial team. You'll have real influence over how we sell, what we build, and how we bring new customers live.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle as the clinical subject matter expert — discovery, evaluations, executive presentations, and everything in between</li><li>Lead product demos for clinical, supply chain, and revenue cycle stakeholders, tailoring the story to each audience</li><li>Answer clinical and workflow questions from nursing, perioperative, and procedural teams</li><li>Consult on current-state workflows and map how AssistIQ integrates into OR and procedural area operations</li><li>Travel to customer sites to run demos and on-site workflow assessments</li><li>Bring voice-of-the-customer feedback to product and implementation teams</li><li>Build reusable demo scripts, clinical talk tracks, and objection-handling material the sales team can lean on<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Deep familiarity with the OR and procedural areas, including circulating workflows, supply and implant documentation, and perioperative operations</li><li>Experience in a customer-facing or cross-functional role where you had to explain clinical workflow to non-clinical audiences</li><li>Comfortable presenting and demoing to audiences ranging from frontline nurses to hospital executives</li><li>Strong consultative instincts — able to translate workflows into clear product value</li><li>Willingness to travel to customer sites for demos and workflow assessments (:25-50%)</li><li>Clinical background is a plus but not required<br><br></li></ul><strong>Nice to haves<br><br></strong><ul><li>Prior experience at a health tech, medical device, or healthcare SaaS company</li><li>Familiarity with perioperative EHR documentation (Epic OpTime, Cerner SurgiNet) or hospital supply chain systems</li><li>Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with health systems<br><br></li></ul><strong>Why AssistIQ<br><br></strong><ul><li>Solve a problem clinical teams complain about every single day, with technology that removes work instead of adding it</li><li>Small team, direct access to leadership, and real ownership over your function</li><li>High growth organization with live, named health system customers<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Competitive Base Salary + variable compensation</li><li>Comprehensive health insurance </li><li>Flexible work hours</li><li>A collaborative, engaging, top-of-class culture<br><br></li></ul><strong>Our Core Values<br><br></strong><ul><li>Customer Centricity: We actively learn about our customers' pain points to understand their needs and deliver technology solutions that exceed their expectations. Customer satisfaction is our ultimate measure of success</li><li>Transparency & Inclusivity: We act with integrity, creating space for new ideas and sharing information about our progress, challenges, and decision-making processes</li><li>Agility & Flexibility: We iterate with speed, challenging the status quo and seeking continuous improvement to respond to our customer needs and market changes. </li><li>Accountability and Collaboration: We foster a culture of responsibility and display curiosity, grit and passion to achieve our objectives, individually and as a team. </li><li>Social Responsibility: We prioritize environmental impact by making responsible choices and developing products that make the healthcare industry more sustainable</li></ul>

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

The day I watched Marie Forleo's film separating the important from the urgent, my life changed. Not all remote jobs start fast, but most of them are...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
