After you download the app we will verify contact info, nurse/caregiver license info, credentials, and complete a quick interview; if you qualify, you will become our newest HERO. ### What we're looking for Applicants must meet the following: - A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - CNA license Required - Ability to lift at least 51 lbs on a regular basis and physically able to help residents who require physical assistance - Read, write, speak and understand the English language - May require experience with caring for residents with memory impairment if assigned to memory care areas of the community ### The work you may do As a CNA/Caregiver you will provide hands-on assistance and support to residents. This includes medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, laundry and other activities of daily living. You will follow the schedule of residents' needs as set by your supervisor and provide emotional and social support. At times you may support the dining staff or assist in the dining room. You should be comfortable with emergency equipment and procedures and maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. ### Location and pay - Location: Newport News, VA (shifts available in Newport News) - Pay: UP TO $25 /hr.
