Consultant, Product Management

About the position

Join Dell Technologies’ Unstructured Storage Team and help define the full-stack infrastructure powering the next generation of artificial intelligence. Working across the PowerScale, ObjectScale, Lightning File System, and Exascale Storage portfolios, you will collaborate with the world’s leading AI organizations to translate ambitious goals into scalable, production-ready solutions. This role is ideal for someone energized by emerging technology and comfortable shaping both the strategic product vision and the detailed solution architecture required to bring it to life. You will operate from 30k feet down to ground level—evangelizing Dell’s vision for AI infrastructure, whiteboarding architectures with customers, and diving into the technical details of storage, networking, and compute. You will guide customers through complex or still-evolving requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop complete rack-level designs that account for performance, capacity, resiliency, connectivity, power, and operational needs. Success requires equal parts technical depth, curiosity, customer empathy, and the ability to create clarity where the path forward is not yet fully defined. Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Consultant on our Product Management team Seattle, WA or Santa Clara, CA.

  • Ability to turn ambiguous customer needs into clear requirements and actionable solution designs
  • Confidence engaging with technical practitioners, architects, executives, product teams, and engineering organizations
  • Ability to communicate a compelling product and technology vision while remaining credible at a deep technical level
  • Strong troubleshooting, benchmarking, and proof-of-concept skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
