Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

Nevergreen Pools is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team! This position will be based in Shingle Springs or Rancho Cordova.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service and administrative experience along with at least two years of experience in the pool industry. Maybe you’ve cleaned pools, supported service technicians, processed invoices, scheduled routes, handled billing, or taken care of customers when they called in — we value candidates who understand the pool service business and the customers we serve.

You’ll join a fun, collaborative, fast-paced environment where Team Member and Customer Satisfaction are top priorities. You’ll also report to a supportive manager who is invested in helping the team succeed and grow.

Some of What You’ll Be Doing

Frontline Customer Support & Resolution
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by answering inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries. Listen carefully, ask the right questions, and help resolve customer concerns. When an issue requires additional support, you’ll document the details, coordinate with the appropriate internal team, and follow through with the customer to ensure the issue is resolved.

New Customer Onboarding
Support our new customer onboarding process and help create a great first impression. You’ll assist with communication and coordination between Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to help ensure every new customer has a smooth transition to Nevergreen.

Data, Documentation & Tracking
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, tickets, and routing activities within our CRM and service software. Great documentation matters — your notes help keep our entire team informed and aligned.

Billing & Payments
Process customer payments, respond to billing questions, assist with collections, and research billing discrepancies. You’ll help customers understand their accounts while handling sensitive financial conversations with professionalism and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least two years of pool-industry experience
  • Previous experience in customer service, dispatch, inside sales, administrative support, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail — you dot your i’s and cross your t’s
  • Comfortable following established processes, procedures, and SOPs
  • Friendly, professional, and confident communication skills
  • Strong phone presence and active-listening skills
  • Ability to de-escalate concerns and find solutions while remaining calm and professional
  • Comfortable working across multiple software platforms, including CRM, routing, scheduling, and billing systems
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM to support accurate, real-time documentation while assisting customers
  • A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
