[Hiring] Cold caller Talent Sourcer @Remote Raven

Role Description

Remote Raven is hiring a Talent Sourcer to join our internal team. This is a phone-first, metrics-driven sourcing role embedded in a high-velocity agency environment where dials, screens, and submittals are tracked weekly.

As a Remote Raven Talent Sourcer, you are the first point of contact between our agency and the market. You will run high-volume outbound outreach — primarily cold calls, supplemented by LinkedIn, Jobstreet, and referral channels — to identify, engage, and qualify candidates across multiple concurrent client searches. You will then hand vetted, interested talent to our recruiters and account managers.

This role suits someone who treats sourcing as a discipline, not a fallback. You should be energized by a full calendar of outbound activity, comfortable being told no several times before getting a yes, and disciplined enough to keep our ATS clean while still hitting daily dial targets. You'll work independently from your home office, fully remote, on US Mountain Time hours.

This is a fast-ramp role, and we mean it. By the end of week 2, you should be endorsing high-caliber candidates that meet Remote Raven's submittal standard. By day 30, you should be fully onboarded to our ATS, fluent in our active client roster, and consistently hitting weekly sourcing metrics. By day 60, you should be exceeding sourcing benchmarks and owning concurrent pipelines independently. By day 90, you should have built and delivered talent for at least one specialized or hard-to-fill role.

This is an internal hire — you are joining Remote Raven directly, not being placed at one of our clients.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in talent sourcing, agency recruiting, or a high-volume outbound calling role (SDR, BPO outbound sales, or collections with verifiable dial volume)
  • Demonstrated history of placing 30+ outbound calls per day in a prior role
  • Hands-on experience using an ATS or CRM to manage candidate or lead pipelines
  • Working familiarity with at least one of: LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Indeed Resume, ZipRecruiter
  • Clear, confident, neutral-accent English with a strong phone presence
  • Stable internet (75 + Mbps), quiet home workspace, and a noise-cancelling headset
  • Willingness and ability to work US Mountain Time hours (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time)
  • Self-directed work style suited to a remote, metrics-tracked role

Requirements

  • Execute 30–50+ outbound calls per day to active and passive candidates across multiple open searches
  • Source talent through LinkedIn (Recruiter, Sales Navigator, or free search), Indeed Resume, ZipRecruiter, referrals, and creative channels
  • Build and maintain a candidate pipeline that supports concurrent searches across industries
  • Follow up persistently with callbacks, no-answers, and warm leads
  • Conduct phone screens covering skills, experience, availability, salary expectations, and role interest
  • Clearly communicate role requirements, compensation ranges, and client expectations
  • Assess candidate fit against the brief from our recruiters and flag mismatches early
  • Log all candidate notes, screen outcomes, and pipeline status in our ATS within the same business day
  • Manage and organize a candidate pipeline across multiple concurrent searches without dropping leads
  • Track personal activity metrics: calls placed, conversations had, screens completed, submittals delivered
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly sourcing benchmarks set by Remote Raven leadership
  • Identify sourcing roadblocks early and propose alternative channels or messaging when a search stalls
  • Sync regularly with our recruiters and account managers to align on client priorities and refine search criteria
  • Provide written pipeline updates on each active search
  • Share market intelligence — salary pushback, candidate objections, channel performance — to refine our sourcing strategy
  • Represent Remote Raven professionally on every call

Benefits

  • Up to $5/hour
  • $50/month Health and Wellness Fund
  • 10 PTO days per year (once eligible)
  • Select US paid holidays
  • 100% remote work
  • A long-term seat on Remote Raven's internal sourcing team — this is not a project placement
