HubSpot Implementor (Marketing) - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on HubSpot Implementor (Marketing) to own the digital infrastructure, systems, and execution that support marketing and revenue activity.

This role will take ownership of CRM and HubSpot administration, marketing automation, email nurture programmes, website and CMS management, landing pages, analytics, technical SEO, tracking, and conversion optimisation. You will ensure campaigns and digital journeys are implemented accurately, measured effectively, and continuously improved.

Working closely with the Content Marketing Specialist, you will transform approved messaging and content into effective digital experiences across pages, forms, workflows, email journeys, tracking, reporting, and CRM processes.

This is not a paid-media management role. Success will be driven by reliable marketing systems, an optimised digital customer journey, clear performance visibility, and measurable commercial outcomes.

About the Client

You will be working with an established B2B organisation focused on using effective digital marketing, technology, and data to support sustainable commercial growth. The business values reliable systems, measurable performance, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration between Marketing, Sales, leadership, and technical partners.

Ideal Profile

Essential Experience

  • Ideally 5–7 years of experience across digital marketing, marketing operations, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated hands-on ownership of HubSpot and CRM processes within a B2B environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining websites, landing pages, forms, and digital customer journeys through a CMS.
  • Strong experience designing and operating email automation, nurture workflows, segmentation, and lead-routing processes.
  • Proven capability implementing analytics, conversion tracking, dashboards, and campaign measurement.
  • Ability to manage digital initiatives from requirements and build through QA, launch, measurement, and optimisation.

Marketing Systems and Automation Capabilities

  • Advanced working knowledge of HubSpot, including CRM administration, lists, properties, workflows, forms, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, segmentation, data hygiene, and Marketing-to-Sales hand-offs.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into dependable automated workflows and operating processes.
  • Experience managing platform integrations and troubleshooting data or workflow issues.
  • Strong documentation, quality assurance, and change-management practices.

Website, Analytics and Technical Capabilities

  • Hands-on experience with a modern CMS such as HubSpot CMS, WordPress, or Webflow.
  • Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and dashboarding tools.
  • Practical HTML and CSS knowledge for troubleshooting and routine page-level updates.
  • Working knowledge of technical SEO, structured data, redirects, indexing, and website performance.
  • Experience with conversion optimisation, testing methodologies, and funnel analysis.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate clear commercial implications to non-technical stakeholders.

Systems and Tools

  • HubSpot Marketing Hub and CRM, or comparable marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
  • CMS platforms such as HubSpot CMS, WordPress, or Webflow.
  • Reporting and dashboarding platforms such as Looker Studio or HubSpot reporting.
  • Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for analysis, validation, and reporting.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within B2B services, technology, agency, or professional-services environments.
  • HubSpot certifications or demonstrated platform administration expertise.
  • Experience coordinating website improvements with external developers or technical partners.
  • Familiarity with privacy-conscious consent management and email preference processes.

Personal Attributes

  • Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive in identifying issues and driving them through to resolution.
  • Able to balance technical accuracy, customer experience, and commercial priorities.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and accountable for the performance of owned systems and processes.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Planning and Delivery

  • Translate marketing priorities and campaign requirements into practical digital delivery plans.
  • Own the implementation roadmap across the website, CRM, automation, and analytics ecosystem.
  • Coordinate dependencies, testing, approvals, and delivery across Content, Sales, leadership, and technical partners.
  • Identify gaps and areas of friction throughout the digital customer journey and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, workflows, tracking conventions, and recurring processes.

Website, CMS and Landing Pages

  • Manage the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the company website and CMS.
  • Build, format, publish, and maintain landing pages using approved content supplied by the Content Marketing Specialist.
  • Configure forms, calls to action, thank-you experiences, and follow-up journeys.
  • Ensure pages are responsive, accessible, accurate, and aligned with campaign requirements.
  • Manage page updates, redirects, navigation changes, and routine website quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with designers and developers when requirements extend beyond available CMS or no-code capabilities.

HubSpot and CRM Ownership

  • Own the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of HubSpot and the connected CRM environment.
  • Maintain lifecycle stages, contact properties, segmentation, lists, lead statuses, and data standards.
  • Build and maintain workflows supporting lead capture, qualification, routing, follow-up, and internal notifications.
  • Monitor data quality, duplicate records, field usage, and process adoption, resolving issues proactively.
  • Provide Marketing and Sales with reliable reporting, processes, and visibility throughout the lead lifecycle.
  • Manage relevant integrations and coordinate specialist technical support when required.

Email Automation and Nurture

  • Build and manage automated email journeys, nurture programmes, and trigger-based communications.
  • Transform approved messaging and content into effective email campaigns and automated workflows.
  • Manage segmentation, suppression, enrolment logic, personalisation, and lead hand-offs.
  • Test subject lines, calls to action, sequence structures, and journey design to improve performance.
  • Monitor deliverability, engagement, and conversion performance and implement improvements where required.

Analytics, Tracking and Dashboards

  • Own digital marketing measurement across the website, HubSpot, CRM, and email activity.
  • Implement and maintain analytics, tags, events, conversion tracking, and UTM conventions.
  • Develop dashboards covering traffic, engagement, lead generation, funnel progression, and marketing contribution.
  • Validate tracking before launches and investigate discrepancies or data-quality issues.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for Content, Sales, and leadership.
  • Deliver regular reporting covering digital performance, key learnings, risks, and priority actions.

Technical SEO and Website Performance

  • Own or coordinate technical SEO requirements beyond the content layer.
  • Monitor crawling, indexing, sitemaps, robots directives, canonicals, redirects, and website errors.
  • Implement schema and structured-data recommendations in collaboration with the Content Marketing Specialist.
  • Support improvements to site architecture, internal linking, and page templates.
  • Monitor website speed, mobile usability, and Core Web Vitals, coordinating technical fixes where necessary.
  • Use Google Search Console and relevant tools to identify and address technical issues affecting organic visibility.

Conversion and Journey Optimisation

  • Analyse landing pages, forms, email journeys, and funnel stages to identify friction and drop-off.
  • Develop and execute structured tests across page layouts, forms, calls to action, and journey stages.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to improve conversion performance and user experience.

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

The day I watched Marie Forleo's film separating the important from the urgent, my life changed. Not all remote jobs start fast, but most of them are...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
