This entry-level internship involves supporting Public Purpose Programs and performing administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, processing applications, calls, processing applications and assisting customers. The intern will assist in executing MVU’s operational standards and ensure alignment with city policies and regulatory requirements. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn systems and enterprise software in a dynamic utility environment. The candidate excels in fast-paced environments and is dedicated to learning and contributing to MVU’s mission to deliver reliable, transparent service and innovative, efficient design. They demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, social communication skills, and a commitment to public service. In addition, the candidate should possess a keen interest in power resources and energy programs and demonstrate an understanding of sustainable practices and renewable energy technologies. They should be eager to learn about integrating innovative energy solutions and to contribute to programs that promote energy efficiency and conservation within the Moreno Valley community.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">MINIMUM AND DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; and be currently enrolled in a college Master's Degree level program.
