You will develop a dealer network and own high-volume retail customer relationships, make regular visits to check merchandising, train new associates, reconcile inventory counts, and solve operational issues on the spot. You’ll be the first call for store leaders in receiving, lawn & garden, and power equipment, coordinating deliveries and product setups during peak seasons. The ideal candidate thrives in the field, communicates clearly face-to-face, excels at developing new business relationships, and enjoys hands-on problem-solving. To succeed, you must self-manage a new business pipeline and rolling visit plan, capture crisp visit recaps, and drive market-level improvements with store and internal partners. This role offers high autonomy in a family-owned, no-frills culture with uncapped commission and a long-standing brand sold through national and regional retailers, with ongoing expansion into larger big-box channels.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Account Manager - Agricultural Equipment Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Develop and grow new business opportunities, primarily through dealer relationships</p><p>• Manage and expand relationships with existing customer accounts</p><p>• Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly visits to assigned retail locations</p><p>• Serve as the primary escalation point for product, inventory, and operational issues</p><p>• Support new product launches, deliveries, and in-store setup activities</p><p>• Perform inventory counts and reconcile findings with retailer reports</p><p>• Build relationships with store managers, receiving teams, and lawn and garden departments</p><p>• Identify and drive operational and merchandising improvements at the market level</p><p>• Train retail associates on product knowledge and display execution</p><p>• Provide consistent visit reporting, insights, and field feedback to leadership</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Account Manager - Agricultural Equipment Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• 2+ years of Sales or Account Management experience required</p><p>• Familiarity with farm or outdoor power equipment required</p><p>• Mechanical aptitude required</p>
