<p><strong>Position summary</strong></p><p><span>We are seeking an Associate Director – Policy & Advisory (MEA–APAC) to lead and scale Crystal’s regulatory advisory and commercial presence across the region.</span></p><div><p><span>This is a senior, high-impact role at the intersection of regulatory strategy, client advisory, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for building and leading a regulatory compliance advisory capability, acting as Crystal’s regional ambassador to regulators and industry bodies, and driving strategic client relationships and commercial outcomes.</span></p><p><span>You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing while owning a portfolio of key accounts and contributing directly to revenue through expansion and advisory engagements.</span></p><p><span>This is a remote, full-time role with regular regional and occasional international travel.</span></p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Lead the development of a Regulatory Compliance advisory arm for MEA–APAC markets, from strategic positioning to full-scale service delivery.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build and maintain relationships with regulators, law-enforcement agencies, and financial authorities across MEA–APAC.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Represent Crystal in industry associations, working groups, and public-sector initiatives.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitor and analyse regulatory developments related to digital assets and financial services.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Translate regulatory changes into actionable insights for internal teams and clients.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Act as Crystal’s regional regulatory ambassador, strengthening public- and private-sector positioning.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Own and develop a portfolio of strategic clients across MEA–APAC.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive client retention, satisfaction, and long-term relationship growth.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Carry and deliver against a quota focused on account expansion revenue.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Act as a trusted advisor to clients on regulatory and compliance matters.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with Sales Executives on new opportunities and strategic deals.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support deal progression through regulatory and compliance expertise.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to RFPs, regulatory questionnaires, and commercial proposals.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead and deliver advisory engagements on crypto-regulatory frameworks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Design and deliver training programs for government and institutional clients.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Use advisory and training engagements to deepen relationships and unlock growth opportunities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conduct regulatory and market research to support strategy and client engagement.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing on positioning.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Represent Crystal at events, webinars, and industry forums to drive visibility and opportunities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the management team of Crystal to support business objectives.</span></p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>8+ years of experience in crypto/blockchain compliance, FinTech, SaaS, or RegTech.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong expertise in AML, compliance, and financial-services regulation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven experience engaging with regulators and public-sector stakeholders across MEA–APAC.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated ability to own client relationships and drive commercial outcomes (including quota responsibility).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience delivering advisory services and leading complex client engagements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong understanding of financial institutions - exchanges, fintechs, banks, payment providers, or institutional crypto firms.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong public speaking and training delivery capabilities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Self-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage multiple priorities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.</span></p></li></ul></div>
