[Remote] Director, Distribution Strategy CALA

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hilton is a global hospitality company seeking a Director of Distribution Strategy for the CALA region. The role will develop and implement third-party distribution channel strategy, manage commercial metrics and forecasting, identify new partners, and negotiate distribution contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.


Responsibilities

  • Create, communicate, and implement a well-defined distribution channel strategy and roadmap for CALA with clear critical metrics
  • Ensure successful integration of third-party channel initiatives into broader Commercial strategies
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the tracking, tagging, data management, and channel enablement needs of the third-party channels
  • Monitor segment results and impact on pipeline goals, recommending processes, initiatives, and efficiencies to increase value
  • Manage, report, and communicate, across multiple commercial forums, performance against important metrics weekly, monthly, and annually
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create metrics and targets for measuring results and improving forecasting
  • Socialize weekly state of the business reports and address ad hoc requests from senior leadership
  • Identify new online third-party options and partners through analysis, data, trends, and channel insights
  • Negotiate third-party contracts, stay current with distribution-related legislation and support strategic engagement with influencers in the space

Skills

  • Fluent in English, Spanish & Portuguese
  • Ten (10) years of work experience in distribution, revenue management or other role-relevant environments and fields
  • Deep understanding of the CALA Region and the OTA, Bedbank/Wholesale, metasearch, and overall distribution landscape
  • Validated experience to negotiate sizeable distribution contracts
  • MA/MS or Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Fifteen (15) years of professional experience in digital travel, hospitality, or adjacent industries and business fields
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Recent experience managing a large online channel at scale and developing plans to improve that business
  • Sound understanding of Hilton brands, operations, systems, and organization
