Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce leader, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Procurement Specialist, Global Sourcing to join their international team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new global suppliers, ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough market research to identify potential sourcing opportunities, negotiating favorable contract terms and pricing with suppliers worldwide, and managing supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments, such as product development, logistics, and finance, to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade regulations, import/export processes, and global supply chain dynamics. You will analyze procurement data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen understanding of global markets. Proficiency in procurement software and excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse international teams are essential. Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate global suppliers for various product categories. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with international suppliers. Manage and develop relationships with existing and new suppliers. Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities and trends. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and import/export requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs. Analyze procurement data to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans. Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and delivery standards. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a focus on global markets. Proven experience in international negotiation and supplier management. Strong understanding of global trade, logistics, and compliance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle) and MS Office Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
