About the Role

We are looking for an agent with experience and the self-motivation required to operate our late shift 18.00-02.00. The role is home based, once the new colleague goes through initial induction training and can handle most tasks autonomously. If you are native or fluent in English (verbal and written), would enjoy the flexibility of working from home and are able to fit evening shifts (6pm-2am) into your life, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Check availability of cabins across all ships and itineraries
  • Proactively sell cruise packages to direct clients and travel agents
  • Upsell cabin categories, pre/post cruise services, and other available add-ons
  • Respond to availability and information requests from clients and travel partners
  • Provide detailed cruise information, pricing, and booking policies
  • Build relationships with potential customers and travel agents to encourage repeat bookings
  • Process individual (FIT) and group bookings from international markets
  • Register all bookings accurately in the reservations system (Cabin Select)
  • Handle all stages of the direct customer booking journey. Assist and advise passengers, manage payments.
  • Answer passenger questions, resolve concerns, and provide support pre- and post-cruise
  • Enter and maintain booking and passenger data in the reservations’ system
Requirements
  • 1–2 years minimum experience in tourism reservations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Studies, or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; native-level English is a strong advantage. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Previous experience handling international customers, preferably from the USA market.
  • Strong knowledge of reservations procedures, including bookings, amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Computer literacy and experience with reservation systems, or other travel technology.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple requests, and solve problems effectively during the night shift.
  • High attention to detail and a professional, customer-focused approach
