The company partners with leading capital providers to optimize clean energy assets at scale, supporting the growth of distributed renewable energy while delivering reliable performance and exceptional customer experience THE SENIOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER – FSI POSITION Sunstrong is searching for a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, and scale enterprise Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Field Service, with strong ownership of integrations and customer data architecture. This role partners closely with Operations, Product, and Business teams to deliver reliable automations, intuitive user experiences, and high-quality data that supports both daily execution and strategic reporting. This role will be expected to lead technically, mentor other developers/admins, and drive best practices across architecture, security, testing, and release management. SENIOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER – FSI RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Leads end-to-end Salesforce development: solution design, Apex/LWC implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. </li><li>Builds scalable automation and UI experiences across Work Order and case-driven operational workflows. </li><li>Develops secure, resilient integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, events, and async patterns. </li><li>Defines and enforces data standards, governance, and quality practices to support analytics and 360 customer views. </li><li>Partners with Operations teams to optimize process efficiency, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve SLA adherence. </li><li>Owns technical documentation, code review quality, CI/CD hygiene, and release readiness. </li><li>Mentors team members and contribute to architectural decisions and platform roadmap planning.</li></ul> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>6+ years of Salesforce development experience in complex enterprise orgs. </li><li>Deep hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce metadata model. </li><li>Strong command of governor limits, bulkification, security model, and performance tuning. </li><li>Proven experience with integration design (REST/SOAP, async processing, error handling, retry patterns). </li><li>Experience working in Agile teams with Git-based source control and deployment pipelines. </li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.</li><li>Field Service experience is a must-have, including experience designing and supporting Work Order-centric operations, supporting FSL mobile and implementing solutions for Work Order Line Items and Product Request processes.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Integration experience is strongly preferred.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Build and maintain robust integrations between Salesforce and downstream/upstream systems. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Use Named Credentials, secure auth patterns, and standardized integration frameworks for consistency. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Implement event-driven and asynchronous designs (Queueable/Batch/Platform Events where appropriate) for reliability and scale. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Own integration observability: logging, alerting, reconciliation, and support runbooks. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Model and map Salesforce service/field entities into Data Cloud structures. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Align data capture with reporting, activation, and predictive use cases. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Enforce data quality controls (dedupe, standardization, validation, lineage) from source to activation. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support use cases that connect operational data (service history, work orders, partner activity) to customer intelligence.</li></ul> additional knowledge, skills and abilities<ul><li>Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Integration Architect, or Data Cloud credentials. </li><li>Experience in large org refactoring, managed package coexistence, and multi-team governance models. </li><li>Experience with high-volume service operations, partner ecosystem workflows, or regulated data environments</li></ul>
