We're looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer to build and evolve AI-native products that power travel experiences for clients worldwide. You'll work in agile squads following DevOps best practices, with the autonomy to make technical decisions and the support to grow your skills. What You'll Build You'll join a team working on traveller workflow and automation products, including: <ul type="disc"> <li>AI-powered content retrieval and search</li> <li>Intelligent quotation systems</li> <li>Automated booking processes</li> <li>Travel assistance and recommendation features</li> </ul> All products are designed AI-native from the ground up. Your mission... Development & Engineering <ul type="disc"> <li>Design, build, and maintain backend services and microservices</li> <li>Develop and integrate LLM-powered features (intelligent search, travel recommendations, document processing, personalised content)</li> <li>Write clean, testable code following best practices</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions</li> <li>Own features from design through deployment and monitoring</li> </ul> AI & Automation <ul type="disc"> <li>Engineer effective prompts and prompt chains for travel-related use cases</li> <li>Integrate LLM APIs to enhance user experiences and automate workflows</li> <li>Build RAG systems for intelligent content retrieval</li> <li>Evaluate LLM outputs for accuracy, cost-efficiency, and user value</li> </ul> DevOps & Collaboration <ul type="disc"> <li>Implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and containerised deployments</li> <li>Monitor application performance and respond to incidents</li> <li>Work in agile/Scrum squads with international team members</li> <li>Mentor peers and share knowledge across teams</li> </ul> Our Tech Stack <ul> <li>Frontend: React + Typescript</li> <li>Backend: Ruby on Rails (latest versions)</li> <li>Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis</li> <li>Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes</li> <li>Automation: GitHub Actions, Terraform</li> <li>Testing: Playwright, RSpec</li> <li>Monitoring: DataDog</li> <li>Collaboration: Slack, Notion, Azure DevOps</li> </ul> We're always open to new technologies and improvements! Our ideal candidate...
