Telehealth Nurse Practitioner, CA TX

Must be able to work 4-5 shifts per week and a minimum of 3 weekend shifts per month. At Hydration Room, we’re transforming preventative care and wellness through a modern, patient-centered approach. We’re looking for a certified Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about health education, telemedicine, and patient engagement—whether delivering care remotely. About the Role As a Nurse Practitioner at Hydration Room, you’ll be a key clinical leader, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through our telehealth platform. You’ll oversee virtual patient encounters, support onsite clinical teams, and contribute to continuous quality improvement. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and onsite, depending on scheduling and business needs. This position is non-exempt and reports to the Nurse Practitioner Manager, VP of Nursing, and Chief Medical Officer. What You’ll Do

  • Conduct Annual Medical Clearance evaluations (also known as Good Faith Exams) via video/audio to assess patient eligibility for treatment, ensure compliance with clinical protocols, and support Hydration Room's commitment to patient safety, quality care, and clinical oversight.
  • Remotely triage and treat patients through a secure telemedicine platform.
  • Provide personalized education and recommend wellness-focused treatment plans.
  • Support clinical coordination for onsite patient visits as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional virtual care experiences through clear communication and compassionate delivery.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and collaboration with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Participate in the telehealth provider schedule, including 3–4 weekend shifts per month to support our 7-day-a-week clinic model.
  • Complete clinical documentation, sign off on patient charts, and manage e-prescriptions and lab orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
  • Enthusiastic about preventative medicine, IV therapy, and wellness programs.
  • Skilled in remote patient communication, especially via written chat, phone, and video.
  • Confident in clinical decision-making, patient triage, and leading multidisciplinary care.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and tech-enabled environment.
Requirements Qualifications
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (active license required)
  • CA and TX NP licensure
  • CA NP 103 or 104
  • DEA certification preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficient in EMRs, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of IV therapy protocols and patient safety standards
  • Ability to work both in-person and remotely, with remote shifts conducted from a quiet, professional environment—free from distractions such as background noise—to promote clear communication.
  • Must have reliable internet connectivity, maintain a punctual and professional presence for all calls/appointments, and demonstrate consistent responsiveness and focus during remote shifts.
  • Team members must be available to work any of our scheduled shifts. Specific shift assignments will be determined based on scheduling and business needs and are subject to change.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to traverse the entire facility when onsite as applicable
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
