Visual Creative Lead (Direct Response Ads) for an Advertising Company - Remote

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in pairing remote work with top-tier talent. We admire the importance of innovative social media strategies and are committed to connecting talented individuals with great companies that need their unique skills. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.

We're looking for a sharp, creatively driven Creative Director to own the visual execution of our Meta ad campaigns. You'll take approved scripts and turn them into detailed, conversion-focused visual direction documents that guide the editors and creators. You'll actively shape creative strategy, test new angles, and collaborate with copywriters, editors, and media buyers to scale winning ads.

If you have a video editing background, deep DR experience, and want to step into a creative lead path, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate copywriter scripts (via Loom) into scene-by-scene visual direction documents—covering shot selection, B-roll, pacing, transitions, text overlays, hooks, and editing style.
  • Direct talent, UGC creators, and AI avatars while selecting visuals that maximize conversion.
  • Collaborate with editors, copywriters, and media buyers to iterate on creatives based on real performance data.
  • Research competitor ads and test new hooks, angles, and formats while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Coordinate integration of AI-generated B-roll and avatars into final ad creatives.
Requirements
  • Background in video editing with a clear progression toward creative strategy.
  • Proven experience with heavy direct-response / VSL brands (e.g., Gundry MD, Dr. Marty, Gordon Ramsay-style brands).
  • Familiarity with storyboarding and visual production workflows.
  • Some involvement in creative strategy—angle development, audience research, and performance analysis.
  • Ideal candidate: Senior Video Editor or Junior Creative Strategist aiming for a creative lead role.
  • Location: LATAM strongly preferred; EST-adjacent timezone ideal.
  • Mindset: Fast learner, proactive, ideas-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
Benefits
  • USD salary.
  • Bonus: $100 per winning ad (uncapped).
  • Location: LATAM strongly preferred; EST-adjacent timezone ideal.
