Start your adventure with Bass Pro Shops, apply today!</p><p></p><p><b>WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE</b></p><p></p><p><b>LOCATION:</b> Springfield, MO</p><p></p><ul><li><h1><span class="emphasis"><b>New increased base pay $20/hour </b></span></h1></li><li><h1><span class="emphasis"><b>1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities with the ability to earn up to $22.50/hour based on position/shift.</b></span></h1></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>All shifts will require mandatory overtime as needed</i></b></p><p></p><p><b><i><u>POSITION SUMMARY:</u></i></b></p><p>The DC Outfitter must have physical stamina and strength to be able to perform the various duties in the Distribution Center. Outfitter will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects.</p><p></p><p><b><i><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</u></i></b></p><ul><li><p>Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.</p></li><li><p>Outfitter will perform manual or physical job duties, based upon DC needs.</p></li><li><p>Loads or unloads trailers by hand, i.e. up to and including, grills, tree stands, safes, kayaks, etc.</p></li><li><p>Uses scanners to read bar codes on labels and product.</p></li><li><p>Fills customer orders by inspecting merchandise and matching merchandise to order.</p></li><li><p>Stocks merchandise to ensure availability of items.</p></li><li><p>Packs customer orders for shipment.</p></li><li><p>Selects and verifies product for fulfillment and routes to the next area or packs for shipping.</p></li><li><p>Assigns and reassigns pick locations based on information from reports and maintains an accurate listing of all locations.</p></li><li><p>Sorts merchandise as appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Processes, tickets, or sorts merchandise for retail locations.</p></li><li><p>Performs returns processing for customer orders.</p></li><li><p>Cleans and repairs different reel models and determines if repair is under warranty.</p></li><li><p>Maintains work area by cleaning as needed. </p></li><li><p>ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED</p></li></ul><p><br /><b><i><u><span>EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:</span></u></i></b></p><ul><li><p>Must be 18 years of age.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:</u></i></b></p><ul><li><p>Production standards and accuracy are especially important aspects of the position that are closely monitored.</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate with fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner and be a team <span>player. </span></p></li><li><p>Must have multitasking skills</p></li><li><p>Commitment to safety rules and procedures</p></li><li><p>Availability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when <span>scheduled. </span></p></li><li><p>Ability to pay close attention to detail and must work well with numbers.</p></li><li><p>Good verbal and written communication skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i><u>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:</u></i></b></p><ul><li><p>No travel is required for this position.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></i></b></p><ul><li><p>Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. repetitive walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.</p></li><li><p>Good hand-eye coordination.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i><u>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</u></i></b></p><ul><li><p>Required to work indoor in a <span>non-climate-controlled</span> environment.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i><u>INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT</u></i></b>:</p><ul><li><p>Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures.
