Summary

  • Learn and follow TAI's performance and continuous improvement initiatives by understanding the importance of visual tools such as: (tracking plan versus actual results by utilizing KPI's for FMDS / Maintaining Visual management tools)
  • Understand facility targets by reviewing the Hoshin and FMDS expectations per individual and facility wide.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of facility operations
  • Support inventories accuracy by maintaining proper process expectations by utilization of work instructions and weekly cycle counts accurately
  • Escalate issues to management as necessary and in a timely manner
  • Ensure facility material on boards and facility wide are maintained in good working condition and that outdated material is communicated to supervisor or team leader for removal decision
  • Support flexibility by cross training and meet productivity objective based on time studies to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Follow TAI's safety program in order to meets OSHA and company expectations, including upholding safety policy, rules and guidelines
  • Follow and support TAI's safety performance by supporting the collection and understanding of leading indicators (Hiyari Hatto, MBWA, etc.) and trailing indicators (Incident rates) and that targets are being met.
  • Ensure safety culture / performance is being improved
  • Ensure prompt notification, reporting and countermeasures of safety incidents and audits are being followed and performed.
  • Support a safety voice through an active safety committee.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in initiatives to ensure safety and operational excellence
  • Ensure and participate in working 5s program for facility
  • Follows quality control measures in order to meet internal and external customer expectations
  • Follows and meets targets for quality performance
  • Support data collection to improve quality and implement improvements
  • Learn and assist in 5 why's and PDCA's for in depth investigations
  • Meet productivity expectations based on time studies
  • Support data collection to improve productivity and implement improvements
  • Ensures tools and equipment are in good working condition in order to promote a safe and productive operation
  • Ensure timely flow of goods in and out of facility are meet
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Support inventory initiatives to meet customer and company inventory accuracy targets utilizing (FIFO, FEFO, and CYCLE COUNTS etc.)
  • Cooperate with controls to support cost management with purchasing of supplies and other expenditures for facility
  • Participate with facilities plan to maintain compliance with company and government environmental standards for ISO 14001
  • Promote high standard among staff by being an example
  • Demonstrate professionalism and maturity when interacting with staff and team members
  • Foster a positive work environment
  • Assist in the training of new team members
  • Meet given deadlines
  • Motivate and coach new team members during training and day to day activities regarding operations.
  • Support the flexibility by cooperating with cross training initiatives to ensure job duties are met
  • Assist with plans to improve and maintain high morale of staff and team members
  • Ensure company policies (HR, safety, Internal Controls, IT, Accounting, Security etc.) and other directives are being observed
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with leadership in order to exceed customer expectation
  • Assist with issues and concerns with root cause and countermeasures within the specified timeframe

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED
