Appointment Setter, Cold Calling B2B Nonprofits | $20/hr+$40/consult+$100/signed - Contract to Hire

$100 an hour at one attended consult an hour. $140 at one and a half. That is a $20 base, $40 for every consult that attends, and $100 for every client that signs, paid every Friday.

You dial on a seven-line parallel dialer with our list and our script. No email, no sequences, no admin. One closer takes every consult and signs 4 of 10.

WHO WE ARE

GrantLedger is an AI-assisted grant-writing company. Nonprofits pay nothing up front; we are paid when they win. That makes the call easy to book: you are offering an executive director money they are leaving on the table, at no cost unless we win it.

THE SEAT

- Four-hour dial blocks, five a week (20 hours), Monday to Friday, on US Central business hours.

- Seven lines at once. You talk to whoever picks up first. The dialer, the list, and the script are ours.

- You dial, you book, you confirm by phone 24 to 48 hours before the consult. That is the whole job. No email, no LinkedIn, no follow-up tasks.

- Every conversation logged before the next one. Book Monday through Wednesday first, inside three business days of the call.

HOW YOU GET PAID

- $20 per hour base, tracked on Upwork

- $40 for every consult that attends (decision maker on the call, 15 minutes or more)

- $100 for every consult you booked that signs a client agreement within 60 days

- Bonuses paid every Friday for the prior week

- The standard is one attended consult per hour. That is the floor, not the goal.

THE MATH (4 of 10 attended consults sign; measured, not a target)

- 1.0 attended per hour: $60 before signed-client bonuses, $100 with them

- 1.18 per hour, where our best current rep runs: $67 and $114

- 1.5 per hour: $80 and $140

At 20 hours that is $2,000 to $2,800 a week with signed-client bonuses. Averages at real production levels, not guarantees. The $20 base is the guarantee. Rates are before Upwork's service fee.

WHY THE NUMBERS ARE REAL

- Our best current rep books 1.18 attended consults an hour on this list.

- One founder takes every consult and signs 4 of 10 that attend.

- Show rate is yours to move: at two bookings an hour, every five points of show rate is worth about $160 a week to you.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

- Two or more years of outbound B2B cold calling, ideally to small organizations.

- You know your booking rate, your conversations per hour, and your show rate from your last role, and you can say them out loud.

- You have run a parallel dialer at pace before. Seven lines is not the place to learn.

- You can hold four-hour blocks. Scattered one-hour sessions do not work here.

THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF

- 20 calls an hour feels normal. That is inbound pace.

- You want a high base and a small variable.

- You cannot explain, concretely, how you get a decision maker to commit to a time.

- You want to work email, LinkedIn, or sequences. This seat is the phone.

WHERE IT GOES

Hold 1.5 attended consults an hour with a 70 percent or better show rate for four straight weeks and you interview for our second closer seat.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Answer the three screening questions with numbers. No numbers, no screen.

2. Link a 60-second voice memo or Loom: how you get a decision maker to commit to a time, and what you do when they say "send me an email."

3. 15-minute call.

4. Paid four-hour trial on a live list segment. You keep the $40 for any trial booking that attends and the $100 if it signs.

5. Week one on full production with a daily scoreboard. One attended consult an hour keeps the seat.
