Chat Support Remote Agent (Part Time, Entry Level)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Remote Part-Time Chat Support Agent to join our fast-growing digital customer care team. This position is 100% remote and requires absolutely no previous professional experience. If you enjoy communicating online, type efficiently, and want to help customers resolve issues directly over text-based chat, you are a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to inbound text-based live chat inquiries from website visitors.

  • Help users troubleshoot basic account updates, order tracking requests, and general website navigation issues.

  • Utilize our internal knowledge base and approved interaction templates to deliver consistent, high-quality answers.

  • Multi-task efficiently by managing 2 to 3 chat conversations simultaneously during peak periods.

  • Route complex billing discrepancies or advanced technical bugs to senior support departments when necessary.

  • Log brief, accurate summary notes inside customer interaction profiles at the conclusion of each chat session.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

  • Solid alphanumeric typing speed (minimum 40 WPM preferred) with high attention to spelling and grammar.

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure, functional personal computer setup.

  • Patient, empathetic, and solution-focused written communication style.

  • Strong multitasking skills to manage a dynamic, text-based live chat environment.

  • Willingness to learn, implement manager feedback, and collaborate with a virtual team.
