Job Summary
The role is a senior‑level full‑stack software development engineer positioned on Delta’s Channels IT team. The position involves enhancing digital efficiencies for enterprise teams and driving innovation through code and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and support core business applications used by the digital Channels team.
- Increase and maintain DevOps practices for cloud infrastructure on‑premises and on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Provide code reviews, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers.
- Estimate delivery timelines and manage prioritization.
- Translate complex enterprise requirements into functional code.
- Write automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
- Design conceptual, logical, and data‑model architectures and curate OpenAPI specifications.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, cross‑functional teams, and partners.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a senior software developer.
- Proficiency with XML, TypeScript, Spring, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular5 or above, Node.js, APIs, Oracle, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Jenkins, CodeBuild/CodePipeline, API Gateways, Lambdas, DynamoDB, Nexus, GitLab, and related DevOps tools.
- Strong automation practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
- High‑school diploma, GED, or college equivalency (minimum).
- Strong grasp of layout styles and design principles.
- 3+ years of experience with JSON, JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with web/mobile application architecture, OAuth, and secure API implementation.
- 3+ years of responsive UI development.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap or Foundation frameworks.
- Experience with MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of multi‑tier architecture and design modeling (Rational/Visio).
- Experience with Cypress, Jest, UML, Mockito, cord mock, Unix scripting.
- 2+ years of Agile team experience.
- Compliance with applicable regulations and COVID‑19 vaccination requirements for U.S.‑based employment.

Desired Qualifications
