Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Account Manager is responsible for the full cycle of business development and sales of Integrated Vision Solutions' (IVS) night vision and weapon-mounted laser products.

Essential Functions:

  • Orchestrating the overall customer experience occurring with the assigned territory, from ensuring customer satisfaction during and after the sale through the execution of all program and product delivery.
  • Identifying, validating, and monitoring customer funding budgets and working customer procurement opportunities through all phases of the buying process to contract award.
  • Developing and executing a detailed account plan to achieve sales objectives; developing and forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual sales for assigned region; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products and services.
  • Implementing sales action plans that achieve market growth and expansion of assigned territory.
  • Determining annual unit sale plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results and recommending selling prices by monitoring competition and supply and demand.
  • Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Participating in trade shows and other events.
  • Able to travel at least 40% and work extended hours.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years prior sales experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years prior sales experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related sales experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active (or active within the last 24 months) DoD Secret (or higher) US Security Clearance

• Understanding of US Army procurement hierarchy, to include: requirement, funding, acquisition, and end-user organizational structure and key decision makers

• Knowledge of Government capability development process (JCIDS, PPBE, AMS) and buying processes, including DFARS and FARS

• Active (or active within the last 24 months) DoD Secret (or higher) US Security Clearance

• Understanding of US Army procurement hierarchy, to include: requirement, funding, acquisition, and end-user organizational structure and key decision makers

• Knowledge of Government capability development process (JCIDS, PPBE, AMS) and buying processes, including DFARS and FARS

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $124,000 - $230,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $116,000- $214,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
