Programmatic Solutions Manager, Uber Advertising

About the Role

In this role as a CPG Programmatic Consultant, you will support Uber's Advertising business by collaborating with CPG brands and agencies within a Retail Media DSP, guiding and advising Advertisers on how to best oversee their Self-Service campaigns. This role will live on the Grocery + Retail Operations team and aims to fully support food, beverage and health + beauty clients on the UberEats App. The primary mission of the Programmatic Consultant role is to work with Sales stakeholders to provide revenue-scaling recommendations to clients. Working hand-in-hand with Client Partners and Criteo, this role will be the primary Operations advisor in client-facing strategy calls, responsible for highlighting data-driven insights, and guiding clients on campaign set-up, management and optimization best practices.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Client Partners, Instacart, and Internal Ad Server Tools to assist with planning, strategizing and troubleshooting campaign executions
  • Analyze campaign reporting, performance and metrics, highlighting revenue-scaling recommendations that align with KPIs
  • Oversee campaign performance, delivery, and benchmarks, contributing to consistent revenue investments from advertisers
  • Onboard new advertisers, creating and sharing training materials + documentation
  • Partner in providing technical support for CPG advertisers, working cross functionally with Product, Engineering, and the Programmatic Enablement team to ensure operational excellence

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of programmatic advertising operations experience
  • 2+ years of working with CPG advertisers
  • 1+ years of working within a Retail Media platform
  • Proactive self-starter who is adaptable and nimble in Uber's fast-growing advertising business
  • Strong knowledge of the CPG landscape - experience with working directly with Advertisers
  • Analyzing and interpreting data - comfortable with data crunching and developing a narrative from campaign details and analysis
  • Advanced Retail Media DSP experience - having an understanding of Sponsored Products and the retail media industry
  • Advanced client-facing oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solver with strong project and time management skills
  • Adequate understanding of Programmatic Ad Operations and campaign management
  • Familiar with troubleshooting and escalation processes

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $118,000 per year - USD $131,000 per year.


For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $131,000 per year - USD $145,000 per year.


For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $131,000 per year - USD $145,000 per year.


For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
