  • What You’ll Do

Write serialized romance webnovels (1200–1500 words per chapter)

Deliver 10+ chapters per week based on a structured outline

Create engaging, fast-paced scenes with strong emotional tension

Write compelling dialogue and addictive cliffhangers

  • Writer’s benefits:

Starting rate: $15 per chapter

Growth range: $20–$35 per chapter based on quality

Performance-based bonuses (story performance on platforms)

Our Long-term writers can earn $2000–$4000/month

  • What We’re Looking For

We are specifically looking for writers familiar with webnovel-style romance, NOT traditional publishing. You’re a great fit if you:

Have experience writing on platforms like GoodNovel, Dreame, Webnovel, Radish, etc.

Understand romance tropes (alpha, fated mates, enemies to lovers, etc.)

Can write fast, emotional, and addictive chapters

Are comfortable writing steamy / flirty scenes

Know how to end chapters with strong hooks

  • How to apply:

1. Your CV and a prose romance novel sample with about 1200 words. (We can't process your application without them. If you don't attach here, please don't forget to send an email to ava@abovestory.com)

2. You'll be asked and paid($15) to write a sample chapter of a project if your CV and sample are approved

3. And if your sample chapter is accepted, you’ll be hired for this position.

4. Please be patient with us. It may take us up to 1 week to review your application. We promise to go through every candidate's profile.

Pay: $1,250.00 - $4,000.00 per month
