Senior DevOps Engineer – Eligible for SC/NPPV3

Job Description:

  • Take ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning through to day-to-day operations
  • Work closely with Solutions Architect on significant changes
  • Use Infrastructure as Code as the default for everything
  • Keep CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable
  • Investigate and fix issues when something breaks or slows down
  • Monitor environments to track performance, uptime, and resource usage
  • Responding and troubleshooting any issues that might arise
  • Bring ideas, run spikes and make the case for improvement
  • Work closely with wider teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions

Requirements:

  • Several years running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS
  • Experience with Azure is a bonus
  • Knowledge of Terraform (Teragrunt is a bonus) beyond the basics
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production context
  • Ability to write Python or Bash to automate
  • Experience with CI/CD (CircleCI is a bonus) at a level where you have created pipelines, not just used them
  • Understanding security considerations and deployment from a risk perspective
