The Customer Service technology and product teams build world-class customer relationship management systems and innovative self-service solutions that are used by millions of customers every day on Amazon’s websites, shopping apps, and through Amazon’s family of devices such as Kindle and Amazon Echo. <strong>Responsibilities:</strong> As a Remote Chat Support Agent, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including: <ul> <li>Responding to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and professional manner: You will be the first point of contact for customers who have questions or concerns about our products or services. You will need to respond quickly and professionally to ensure that customers feel valued and heard.</li> <li>Resolving customer issues and complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives: Some customers may be unhappy with our products or services, and it will be your job to help them find a solution. This may involve providing refunds, replacement products, or other solutions.</li> <li>Following up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved: Once you have provided a solution to a customer’s problem, you will need to follow up to ensure that they are satisfied with the outcome.</li> <li>Using available resources to research and provide accurate information to customers: Our products and services are constantly changing, and you will need to stay up-to-date on the latest information to provide accurate answers to customers.</li> <li>Identifying and escalating priority issues to appropriate departments: Some customer issues may be more urgent or complex than others. You will need to identify these priority issues and escalate them to the appropriate department for resolution.</li> <li>Meeting daily and weekly performance metrics: We have specific performance metrics that you will need to meet on a daily and weekly basis. This may include metrics related to customer satisfaction, response times, and issue resolution times.</li> <li>Providing feedback to management on customer concerns and trends: As a Remote Chat Support Agent, you will be the front line for customer feedback. You will need to provide feedback to management on customer concerns, trends, and issues so that we can continually improve our products and services.</li> </ul><ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).</li> <li>Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.</li> <li>Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.</li> </ul> Apply Job!
