Be part of an amazing story.Macy's is more than just a store.We're a story.One that's captured the hearts and minds of America for more than 160 years.A story about innovations and traditionsabout inspiring stores and irresistible productsabout the excitement of the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks, and the wonder of the Thanksgiving Day Parade.We've been part of memorable moments and milestones for countless customers and colleagues.Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work.Job OverviewThe Business Resiliency Analyst supports the development, administration, maintenance, and execution of all aspects of the Enterprise Business Resiliency program in partnership with business unit representatives.The analyst also participates in executing crisis management and communication protocols during events that disrupt normal business operations.What You Will DoAssist in developing, maintaining, testing, and documenting the business resiliency program, including Risk Assessments, Business Impact Analysis, Department Planning, Business Continuity Plans, Emergency Operations Center Planning, and functional drills and exercises.Share responsibility for monitoring events that may disrupt normal operations or pose a threat to customers or associates; gather, validate, and communicate relevant information effectively.Support enterprise response and impact mitigation for business disruption events by partnering with business units, following established methodologies for Planning & Preparation, Response, Recovery, and After-Action review.Develop technical expertise to administer, maintain, enhance, and provide training on software applications used by the Business Resiliency group.Assist in developing training and educational initiatives related to Business Resiliency program components and emerging threats that could affect operations.Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.Skills You Will NeedBusiness Continuity & Crisis Management - Knowledge of business continuity planning, risk assessments, business impact analysis, and emergency response; able to support planning, response, recovery, and after-action activities.Situational Awareness & Decision-Making - Ability to monitor events that may disrupt operations, validate information, and communicate effectively to stakeholders.Technical & Systems Proficiency - Skilled in administering, maintaining, and enhancing business resiliency software applications; strong knowledge of MS Office; ability to learn and train others on relevant tools.Training & Education - Experience developing and supporting training programs and educational initiatives related to business resiliency and emerging threats.Communication & Influence - Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.Collaboration & Leadership - Effective at working across functional lines, building relationships, facilitating discussions, and supporting team objectives.Strategic & Analytical Thinking - Able to think creatively and strategically to solve problems and support organizational resiliency goals.Professional Credentials (Preferred) - Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Emergency Management certification is helpful but not required.Who You AreCandidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.3-4 years of related experience required.Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands / fingers to touch, handle, and feel.Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms.Requires close vision.Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.What We Can Offer YouJoin a team where work is as rewarding as it is fun!
