Through hands-on projects, capstones, and rotations, you’ll strengthen both your analytical depth and leadership capabilities.</p><p> </p><p>The Technology Leadership Program is a rotational development experience designed for early-career technologists ready to make an impact. Data Scientist participants complete three rotations across Data & Analytics-focused teams, gaining exposure to different domains, tools, and business challenges while increasing ownership, responsibility, and leadership capability over time.</p><p> </p><p><b>In this program, you will:</b> </p><ul><li>Develop and apply machine learning models and advanced statistical techniques to solve business problems</li><li>Work with large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities</li><li>Design experiments, build predictive and prescriptive models, and support model validation efforts</li><li>Translate business problems into analytical approaches and deliver solutions from concept to implementation</li><li>Partner with data, engineering, and business teams to drive data-informed decision-making</li><li>Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Take ownership of projects and contribute to delivering high-impact outcomes</li><li>Collaborate across teams, share insights, and influence strategic decisions</li><li>Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers</li><li>Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship </li></ul><p> </p><p><b>What it takes:</b> </p><ul><li>Master’s, MBA, or relevant advanced degree in Data & Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative or analytical field</li></ul><ul><li>Strong interest in machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics</li><li>Experience with programming languages such as Python or SQL, and familiarity with analytical or modeling tools</li><li>Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment</li><li>Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Special Factors:</b> </p><ul><li>Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position. </li><li>This position will begin in 2027 and students graduating in December 2026, or Spring 2027 are encouraged to apply. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Our Total Rewards package reflects our commitment to you and your family’s well-being – both for today and for the future.
