Website Designer/Developer Needed for Statewide Nonprofit Membership Organization

# Website Designer/Developer Needed for Statewide Nonprofit Membership Organization

We are seeking an experienced web designer/developer or web development firm to build a **new standalone website** for a statewide nonprofit membership and service organization.

Our current website operates within a larger organization's hosted WordPress environment. This project is intended to create a fresh, independently managed website with greater flexibility, functionality, and long-term administrative control.

The website serves both the general public and existing members.

Our most important use cases are:

* A frequently used leadership and organizational directory that must be easy for users to navigate and administrators to maintain.

* A substantial training and resource library containing documents, presentations, forms, and other member resources.

* Event-focused pages that experience significant seasonal traffic and direct visitors to event information and registration.

Potential future functionality may include secure member-only access.

Key priorities include:

* Modern, professional design

* Mobile-first development

* ADA accessibility

* Strong navigation and search

* Easy content administration by organizational staff

* Efficient maintenance of frequently changing directory information

* Resource/document management

* Flexible event landing pages

* Appropriate migration of existing content

* Security, backups, maintenance, and analytics

* Administrative ownership and control

* Flexibility for future integrations

We are open to recommendations regarding the CMS/platform and technical architecture.

Please include in your proposal:

* Years in business and relevant experience

* Examples of comparable projects

* Experience with nonprofit, association, membership, or chapter-based organizations where applicable

* Recommended technical approach

* Accessibility experience

* Proposed project timeline

* Estimated project cost

* Any anticipated recurring costs

* Ongoing maintenance/support options

* Approach to training organizational personnel to administer the website

The selected vendor must be able to provide evidence of at least **$1 million in General Liability Insurance**.

We are looking for a partner who can help create not simply a more attractive website, but a substantially more useful and sustainable digital resource for our members and the public.
